A Huge Sustainability Milestone for Eastwood

Three Modules in Six Months!
We are thrilled to share exciting news with our school community—Eastwood Primary has successfully renewed three ResourceSmart Schools modules within just six months! As a result of these efforts, we continue to proudly maintain our 5-Star Sustainability Certification.

This milestone is no small feat, and we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone—families, students, and staff—who has supported us on this journey. Your everyday actions, big and small, contribute to real environmental impact.
This incredible achievement reflects the ongoing dedication of our students, staff, and wider school community to making sustainability a core part of who we are.

To celebrate this achievement, we’re excited to announce that Cindy from ResourceSmart Schools will be presenting a formal recognition at our whole-school assembly on Monday. This will be a wonderful opportunity to recognise the efforts of our school community and our student Environmental Leaders.
